I sighed. "So now we're down to 9," I answered, reaching to hold his hands. "...You know, I used to just tease you to get you to blush. I guess since I was pretty insecure, I never actually expected this to move along as it had. "No, no, it's not that, it's just, I have had boyfriends in the past, and they would usually try to rush things, and it made me really uncomfortable with intimacy for a time. So when those feelings started to develop after so much teasing, I wasn't sure what to do, and I felt really ashamed because I kinda wanted to move forward but I didn't want to be the one to force you. I had pretty much come to terms to just being a tease."
