"happy thoughts, you heal, bad thoughts, you kill without them having pain... and some of the pain is transfered to you as well..." i said gentally and held up a glowing ball of light green "this is happy, but if it turns to bad thoughts, it gets a dark tinge to it"

I for some reason had a hard time believing this, since I was so used to being told I was anything but, so I usually tried to keep quiet and out of the way, especially recently to a boy in school, when he told me straightforward I was a pain after the few times I got the nerve to talk to him. So what if it happened again? What if he just got sick of me?
