I heard the door open, but I only turned my head slightly to show I was aware of that fact. I didnt say anything, instead waited for an order or request.

".... i dont deserve freedom, not after the things ive done... you save lives though... they may be killers, but you still help them... im not doing this for me... i could honestly care less about where i am.. i know whats here and now, i fight to survive, and i get fed 3 meals a day when i want them, and left to my thoughts the rest of the time.... if anything, you might find something you like better than staying with me, and ill stay in contact, but ill go around and do street fights... its all i know how to do...."

I jumped off the bed. "Do you need me to tend to anything? ...I need to change the dressings regardless, or else it wont heal properly..." I started heading towards the first aid cabinet.

"i only memerized the words, nto the letters or the sounds of each... keep in mind, i was practically raised a living weapon..." i sighed tiredly, giving up on crossing my arms as i leaned back and let the cool floor relax my muscles, and groaned again "might wanna get the extra bandages, might have opened up a few of the wounds on my back and some on my right wrist as well..."

I quickly began working on that. "I wouldnt have been able to do that, memorize words but not know what each letter sounds like. I think you could kinda figure it out as you went along."

"Well, it does keep you busy," I said, as I sterilized his wounds, " Its good to have other things rolling around in your head. Like flowers. Ive never seen real flowers before, but I would love to, since they look so pretty in pictures."
