Havi looked at her. "I have no clue. I've lost strength, weight, and so much more. It may take as long as years to regain what I lost. Though you are standing beside an angel you are calm. Why is that Ao? Do you not get scared of beings of the unknown?"

"Well, you dont look scary or anything. Aside from the wings, youre pretty human looking. So why should I be scared?"

"It was just a question dear. Most people freak out seeing such things on a person. I was curious about you." he says. Havi glanced back at his wings. "I need to get them properly wrapped.

"...But how?" Ao hadnt really brought much, and she hadnt considered bringing first aid....

She mentally facepalmed herself.

"Its fine since I know you don't have anything. I was saying we would need something to wrap them so they heal faster." he said

[Blip]

"So theyll heal even if we dont wrap them?"

[azuneko]

"Yes but it'll take much longer. Wrapping them will quicken the healing process." Havi said sitting down. He was tired and hadn't had a good rest in forever.

Ao sat next to him. "...How old are you?"

[azuneko]

"I am close to three hundred years old. Why do you ask?" Havi said

"Just curious. And you can live forever?"

[azuneko]

"No! I can die if I decided to become mortal or my wings are torn off." he says

"Awww, that sucks..." Ao pouted. "But why would you wanna be a mortal? That sucks too."

[azuneko]

"Its our way of saying we want to die. Some angels grow tired of living forever. They want to find love and have a life. So becoming mortal is a way for them to do so. Remember we watch over all mortals. Just think about it. You watch from above all the fun things you can't do as an angel. Go on dates, kiss, marry, have children, grow old. So its why we are allowed to become mortal." Havi says

[Blip]

"But dont you become an angel again when you die?" Ao asked, a little confused.

[azuneko]

Havi looked at her. "I have confused you. If you are born mortal, die and become an angel you can not become mortal again. If you are born an angel, become mortal and die, you don't to become an angel again." he says

[Blip]

Ao pouted. "So theres no such thing as second chances, regardless if youre an angel or not."

[azuneko]

"There is rebirth but that takes years. So if you die tomorrow you can't be reborn for a thousand years." he said softly.

[Blip]

"What!? Thats horrible! By the time you'd wake up nothing is like you remember!" She exclaimed, taken aback. "And thats not fair...if I died tomorrow...theres so much I want to learn still..."

Havi started to laugh a bit. "You are such a gullible girl. A thousand years in angel time. Its not the same in mortal time. Plus that time can be shortened and you could be reborn the same moment you die. It all depends on the circumstances of your death. If it was accidental and not your time you can be reborn right away." he says smiling

[Blip]

"...That was kinda mean..." She pouted, unamused.

[azuneko]

Havi pets her head gently. "That may be true but I haven't had such a good laugh. It's been so long. I thank you."

"Oh, um...youre welcome," Ao answered, surprised yet pleased with herself.

[azuneko]

"So do you have a place for us to go? If we stay out in the open we will be found." he said

[Blip]

"Oh, yes. We keep walking a couple of...miles...I think." She stood up. "Follow me."

[azuneko]

Havi stands as he follows Ao. He wasn't one to question much but somehow he was surprised no one was looking for them. At the mansion her uncle was furious that Ao had vanished and so did Havi. He had set up a small search party to find them
