"whatever you decide on is fine," I said, trying to will myself out if bed.

Nodding to myself, I began throwing things into a pan for a simple stir fry. pausing for a moment to let things heat up, I walked back into the bed room and watched her with a curious glint in my eyes

"...I'm sorry... This is earlier than what they usually wake us up at..." I said, trying to increase my efforts to move.

"I didnt say a thing.... Just thinking to myself is all..." I responded quietly, glancing over my shoulder to check the progress of things

I finally managed a sitting position. "Sorry. Habit." I started rubbing my eyes. "Wish they wouldn't do that though.."

"You need not apologize to me... You least of all..." I smiled lightly, taking a few steps into the room to caress her hands. "If anything, i feel like you should admonish my bad behaviors more..."

[Blip]

I laughed softly, looking up at him, "But you're practically the sweetest person here, why would u do that?"

[!Fox!]

"Because admonishing my bad behaviors is a step in the right path towards making me able to interact on a somewhat normal level with other humans... I highly doubt getting into a brutal bloody battle is a way to fix a disagreement.... Thanks to you, ive learned to THINK on my problems, not just punch them...."

"...Well, it's good to know I'm inspiring good behavior," I said, clasping my hands to my chest, unintentionally taking his own along. I suddenly looked past him. "The food won't burn right?"

"Just heating up the noodles in the water, shouldn't take more than a minute..." I said, surprised at the sudden pull towards her, barely keeping myself standing in the process. taking a moment to orient myself, i froze, unsure of what to do with my hands without calling attention to them

[Blip]

I lowered my hands to my lap, still not taking note of his own. Or his reaction. "Ah, I see. Well, guess I'll be over there soon so we can eat over there and not in the bedroom again..."

"Y-yeah..." I said with a nod, taking the moment to remove my hands and smoothly make my way to the kitchen, hiding my red face as soon as i turned around

I got up from the bed, going over to my pile of stuff and pulling out a hairbrush, smoothing out my hair. There was no mirror in the room, but I knew that as soon as it felt pleasantly smooth that it looked presentable. I often had the habit of pushing it out of the way as I ate, and I hated when my fingers got stuck. I stepped out of the room. "Love how great food looks."

"Food is food. You look better..." I said simply, only taking a slight glance at her as i was focused on the food preperation

My hand automatically went up to my hair. "Id be worried if it didn't..." I said, walking over to him. "Anything you want me to do?"

"If ya could get some orange juice for me and whatever it is you want that would be great..." Came my delayed responce, as i was focused on cutting the vegetables

"Sure," I answered, going over to the fridge and taking out the orange juice and a dish with a white gelatin thing. It was sweet and creamy. No idea what it was, but apparently they kept record of favorite desserts - probably for bribing purposes- so when I had requested that ("Ask for my favorite dessert""Your favorite? What is it?""Ummmmm....They'll know?") I was quite pleasantly surprised. I just wanted it visible so I wouldn't forget it.

"What is that?" I asked, motioning to the dish she had gotten out

[Blip]

"Dunno. Its delicious though. They used to bribe me with it, sometimes," I answered vaguely, placing it on the table.

"Weird... They never did that with me,...." I grunted, scooping the vegetables into the pan with a fluid motion

"they never bribed you? Wierd..."

[!Fox!]

"Well, to be fair, i dont really have that dynamic of a preference when it comes to food. I just see food as food, if its good, ill eat it. I was content with just having a small form of human interaction here and there, such as with you."

[Blip]

"Ah, I see," I nodded, looking over at the mystery sweet dish. "Maybe that's a good thing?"

"perhaps." Was my responce after a moment of thought. Bringing the food over to the table, i sat down and handed out the plates, which i had held in my other hand.

I took the plate. After several minutes of quiet musing, I piped up, "Wait, technically they did bribe you, just not with food."
