"Well, it was a little later, after all," I said, leaning against the elevator wall.

"Thank you. For putting up with all this and my craziness." I said after a moment of silence

"I'm not putting up with you. We're friends, doing what friends do, like hangout, go out places, have fun. It's not a chore," I said, lazily moving my head just enough to see him properly.

"I know, but i also know it cant be easy with how chaotic my emotions get." I smiled wryly, looking at the ground in thought

"You're not the only person whose emotions I feel, you know," I said, slightly amused, tapping his arm with my fist. "After all, it doesn't really catch me off guard."

"Doesnt mean i dont contribute to the issue." I smiled wryly, pushing off the wall as we got near our floor

"Tsk tsk, I'm starting to feel like you want to be the cause for dark and overbearing emotion. Do you not appreciate not having to focus on those at the moment?" I said, feigning shock.

"No, i do, but i also acknowledge they are still there, as to do so would only hamper and complicate things for myself more than they already are." I responded easily, raising an eyebrow with a sly smirk "Nice try though."

I shrugged, rolling my eyes in an exaggerated manner. "I'm just saying..." the doors soon opened at our floor.

"No, your trying to make me guilt trip..." I teased, walking out of the elevator after looking both ways.

"Hey, I'm not the one who desperately wants to be acknowledged as the strongest of dark emotions," I said, skipping out a bit ahead of him.

I never said strongest, I said most noticeable. And I would like to acknowledged as the dark lord of all, thank you." I responded in turn, pulling out the room key.

"Pffft." For a short moment I was unable to say anything without the giggling making it unintelligible. "For an empath, a strong emotion is the notable emotion, snnnnrk oh dark lord of all."

"Imagine it, a dark flowing cape, eye liner and all. I could have a minion, evil edge lord Supreme. He guards the heavy metal concerts that announce my arrival." I smiled, enjoying the sound of her laughing as I opened the door

I jumped into the room, not really wanting to break down into hysterics in the hall as the image came to mind. It was like the edgy dream of some angsty tween, and imagining said tween as the minion made me laugh even harder.

"The lyrics will be nothing but screaming nonsense, with sudden sentences referring to vikings and fighting dragons." I said, finishing my thoughts on the matter with a warm smile, sitting down on the edge of my bed, watching her with a small laugh of my own.

It took several minutes to finally stop laughing, rubbing the tear that had formed due to the fit."M....man, that would be fricken hilarious to watch, I don't think anyone would take it seriously..."

"Dont tempt me, i may have to come up with attack names and abilities..." I chuckled, removing my tie now

"NOOOOOooooo, I don't want to laugh anymore..."

"Perhaps tomorrow morning then." I chuckled, yawning lightly

"Just about ready to knock out, huh?"

"Not just yet. I do have some paperwork and minor calls and or emails to send. I dont mind if you would like to stay and talk though, when i am able." I said after a moments pause, thinking on it.

I thought about it for a moment. "Sure, why not," I eventually shrugged.

I nodded, shifting my position on the bed as i reached over to the nightstand, pulling a small laptop over to me and setting it on my lap after crossing my legs.
